Stock Buy - Home Depot (5 shares, $20 div income)

Home Depot is a  major home improvement supplies retailing company that sells tools, construction products, and services.

The recent stock price pull-back is a reasonable entry point for this long term dividend and growth company. I've been wanting to add slowly or buy a lump sum so I finally did today. This purchase will add $20 div income annually to my dividend stock portfolio 💪

Stock Buy / Trade - BAIDU (China's "GOOGLE")

Current trade war talks between US and China is providing reasonable entry points for major chinese company stocks.

Baidu is next on my list of trades.   IQiyi (NASD: IQ) was my last trade.

I think it's only a matter of time when US and China makes a trade deal so hopefully the downside risks are already baked in.

(fwd) The Secret to Warren Buffett's Investment in Coca-Cola and Heinz (fool.com)

With Coca-Cola and Heinz, the saying "Invest in what you know" has never been more true...

The above 2013 article explains the strengths of The Coca-Cola Company and the present The Kraft Heinz Company perfectly.

A wide economic moat is crucial for long term successful companies. As Charlie Munger, says more colloquially, "If you can buy a few great companies, then you can sit on your ass."  😄

Note: Checking out chart for KO today and I'm thinking it might be time to add to this holding.

Stock Buy - PPL (50 shares, $82 dividend income)

This is a long term dividend paying defensive sector investment and recent prices is an attractive entry point imo. With div north of 5%, this is very attractive for income investor like myself.

This purchase will add $82 income annually to my dividend stock portfolio 💪

Stock Buy - CAH (20 shares, $38 div income)

Cardinal Health, Inc. ( NYSE: CAH) distributes pharmaceuticals and medical products, manufactures medical and surgical products, including gloves, surgical apparel and fluid management products and operates the largest network of radiopharmacies in the U.S.

The company stock has stalled since 2015 but recent improved earnings is hopefully a good sign of things to come. I'm going to "skate where the puck is" and collect that 3+% div while waiting patiently for the full recovery.

This purchase will add $38 div income annually to my dividend stock portfolio 💪

Stock Buy (18 shares, $15 div income)

Church & Dwight Co., Inc., (NYSE:CHD) is a manufacturer of household products and best known for its Arm & Hammer line which includes baking soda and a variety of products made with it.

Today's pullback allowed me to add more to this long time holding, a boring household company with a long and established history. This is pretty much a forever hold stock if there is ever one.
